Are You For Or Against The Health Care Reform Bill?

Much has been made of the Obama administration and health care reform. And it seems that people are either very much for it, or very against it.

Which one are you?

At the risk of angering, well...everyone, I am going to put my opinion out there. I am AGAINST the health care reform bill. While I agree that our health care system is an absolute mess, I don't believe this bill solves the problem.

And here's why.

Our economy is also a bit of a mess right now. Anybody agree with me on that one? So, this health care bill forces employers to spend MORE money on health care and be further responsible for employees. And, for the first time, smaller businesses fall under this requirement under the terms of the bill.

Now, I'm no Bill Gates, but it doesn't take a business genius to realize that causing higher costs is not going to encourage job growth. Is nobody else seeing this?

Not to mention that our government isn't exactly known as the most progressive, business-minded organization on the planet. Forgive me if I'm not jumping up and down with joy at the thought of the government determing what is and what is not acceptable health care.

Anybody have a better solution? This one pretty much sucks, in my opinion.
